Last Thursday, Ponystep joined forces with MAC to host a wonderfully festive dinner party for the extremely talented and very lovely, Louise Gray. All of Louise's nearest and dearest turned out to Rochelle Canteen (a real effort considering how many events were on that same week!) including; Peter Pilotto, Charles Anastase, Nicholas Kirkwood and Anouck Lepere. Guests were tempted in from the cold with Beefeater 24 cocktails!

This Tuesday, something very special indeed happened in an East London garage. Jeanette - 'it girl', door whore and general 'girl about town' opened her own eponymous fashion store. Everyone from Gareth Pugh and Louise Gray to Tim Noble and Sue Webster, turned out to the 'Reggae' themed opening (fuelled by rum punch and Asahi beers). It got raucous - the police arrived, but the party continued regardless! Long live Jeanettes!!! Special thanks to Elaine Chalmers for the 'rice and pea'!

'Guy Bourdin - Unseen' is a collection of the great photographers' hidden gems, and the converted powerstation provides an epic backdrop to the work. Monday saw the opening of 'Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones', and what an opening; Giles, Katie Grand, Roisin Murphy, Anna Piaggi, Daphne Guinness and Jefferson Hack were all on hand to support Mr. Jones. To mark the end of the hit Nokia campaign, 'Somebody Else's Party', the mobile phone moguls teamed up with Colette - undoubtedly the coolest store in Paris. The party, staged in a magnificent aquarium, was attended not only by the stars of the Nokia campaign, but by the likes of Sara (Colette), Pedro Winter and London's very own Susie Bubble (of Style Bubble fame). Of course, the biggest coup of the night was a rousing performance from The Gossip - jetting in especially for the event.

'FLASH' Launch Party.

After the success of 'The Reindeer' pop-up restaurant back in 2006, the guys from Bistrotheque are back with FLASH. FLASH is their 2nd temporary restaurant, and will be located at the Royal Academy Of Arts. It is essentially a food/art concept, with guests dining within a highly ingenious temporary structure designed by architect David Kohn. FLASH will play an integral part of GSK Contemporary, a multidisciplinary season of cutting-edge contemporary art, running from 1 Nov 08 until 18 Jan 09.

Half of East London turned out to the private view of the latest Wolfgang Tillmans show at Maureen Paley, or so it seemed! Working his day job at teen magazine, Bliss, Holland found himself styling the likes of Atomic Kitten and Rachel Stevens on shoestring budgets. Even Topshop were reluctant to lend to him. Not that he is in the least bit dismissive of his former career, looking back on those days with fondness. It was, after all, his first real insight into a world he felt destined to belong, and belong he does - only now, its on his terms.

Our first collaboration party had fashions elite out in force... The likes of Mert and Marcus, Henry Holland, Katie Hillier, Richard Nicoll and Roksanda Illincic, popped in to make merry on a wet Bank Holiday Sunday. London's club kids were out too, and working the most amazing looks! The real star of the night though, was Gary Card's 'pony' pinata - filled with goodies from: Marc Jacobs, Luella, MAC, START, Versace, Nude Cosmetics, Linda Farow Vintage, ESPA and King Of Shaves. Very nice indeed!
